« In my previous series of paintings "Me(n)tal Perspectives", I tried to transmit the expression of tensional awe of mass and how its modules form abstract patterns. The project that shifted the direction of my work was the series "Story of a Global Nomad," in which I explored the limits of abstract painting. I investigated the dividing line between abstraction and pattern, and questioned the ideas of painting and decoration (in the sense of non self-referentiality), leading to projects that attribute a function to painting. » J.
